Grants Program started by World Classics

December 19, 2004

“We are looking for help from organizations, hunting manufacturers, and the ordinary sporting enthusiast or hunter that wants to help World Classics succeed with our Grants programs. The annual membership fee for an individual is $25 and some of their membership fee will be earmarked towards helping get the organization off the ground and to also get the World Classics Grants programs started”. Organizations and manufacturers that may want to help will become an "Honorary Member" with a contribution to the grants programs and be listed as a contributor on our Website and News Letter. World Classics CEO, Dan Stapleton says, "These grants will go toward outreach programs for the youth handicapped hunter, education scholarships, and conservation. We want to give something back, there are handicapped kids right here in our own backyard (America) that need our help, not mention the kids that need help to further their education”.

Dan's brother, Greg Stapleton past away in 2003 while battling a brain anyurisum. Greg was born with several physical handicaps.” I have always been proud of my brother for the things he accomplished in his life; he never let anyone believe that he had handicaps because of the way he presented himself to others. That’s why I want to name the handicapped grants program after him. The Greg Stapleton Handicapped Youth Hunter Foundation will help handicapped and terminally ill youths with funding to go on a hunt.” We don't care if it's just a squirrel hunt, they will be able to experience part of the heritage that made this county great and we can help them do it"

World Classics will also be awarding education scholarships grants to young men and women crossed the county that want to further their education towards wildlife management and other areas that may contribute to wildlife. Our wildlife programs across the nation have grown considerably, most of which have grown with the help of educated youth that had an interest in managing wildlife. We were all young once and we all needed some help, that's why we would like to help them.

World Classics will also be awarding one conservation grant to help with wildlife. "Most likely we will link up with other grant foundations to make our money go farther. Several grant foundations combine with other organizations with matching funds, we hope to do the same", says World Classics CEO Dan Stapleton.
